    I bought a unit and had it installed a couple years ago. The store and its owner have been very responsive to my questions and some service issue. They were always willing to go the extra mile even though I live 30 miles from the shop. The service technicians were professional and were never rushed, they spent the time to figure out the problem. The issue finally was a factory fault that was figured and easily fixed-Thanks guys- great place - great service- all you can ask!

    Moved into a new home and needed a gas log for our fireplace. Ad came in mail so my wife and I drove to Fireplaces Plus. Robin, Marge and the guy with hair were terrific to deal with and quickly set us up with a Cross Timber log set. Mike and his partner called and set up our installation for a few days later. They were on time, friendly, efficient and helpful in showing us the safest way to ignite the log set without a resounding mini-explosion. Never would have guessed it ourselves. All in all, a wonderful experience and we now have not only a beautiful fireplace setting to enjoy, but the knowledge that when and if the electricity fails, we can still keep the house warm with our gas fired logs.

    It’s a snowy day in Chicago and a perfect day to review and post photos of our new, ventless gas fireplace. It is gorgeous and warms the room beautifully (and most of our first floor). Neal was great! His installers are great! We’re thrilled. Thank you, Fireplaces Plus! Five stars!

    A double-sided Sky-T Fireplace was installed and is being maintained by the Fireplace Plus. Great experience with the owner Neal and his son Colin. Their instal and service crews are on time, well equipped, do clean after themselves. Totally recommend!

    We stopped by here today to see the options and plan for our fireplace. The sales person was friendly and knowledgeable. He wasn’t pushy at all. We are going to hire them most likely. I will update the review when have more experience with them.

    We wanted to do a built in fireplace and called many places but Neal was the only company who promptly followed up and provided a reasonable quote. The install team Juan and Tony came exactly when they said they would and the job was also finished exactly when they said it would end. I’m in awe of the work and this company is awesome!     Anyone looking for a reputable, one-stop shopping experience for gas log fireplaces, needs to look no further than Fireplaces Plus, Inc. in Vernon Hills. Neal, owner and sales rep, starts the process, offering excellent products and sound advice to meet individual needs. His friendly, honest professionalism is evident from the start. His main goal is complete customer satisfaction. We recently had a gas log system in our existing fireplace that fell short of our expectations. Neal immediately took steps to understand what wasn't right and made arrangements to modify our unit. Two different installation crews worked in our home. Both were knowledgeable and adept in their work, offering sound advice on the operation of our product. Our home was left spotless when they left.From start to finish, Fireplaces Plus, Inc. is a five-star operation! Thank you to all of them.

    Our fireplace was deemed unsafe and we wanted a gas log set, so we needed a company to help. Fireplaces Plus was amazing! Neal was super honest and helpful. They handled everything including demo, tile work, and installation of the new gas log set and remote system. They were friendly, professional, and respectful of my home.     Top quality and service. Neal and Colin are responsive and quick to give detail mattered suggestions. The customer service is phenomenal and they are always willing to go the extra mile to make their clients happy and satisfied. The store has a huge variety of electric, wood and gas fireplaces. The selection is endless. I have worked with Neal and Colin for quite some time now and they always leave our clients speechless and amazed at the beautiful work they do.     Great store with huge varieties of electric , gas and wood fireplaces. They not cheap but remember you got what you pay for. Colin was very helpful and knowledgeable about everything I’ve ask for.

    Highly recommend this team, from top to bottom. Everyone who worked on our Flare fireplace project provided exemplary customer service. Neal, the owner, checked in everyday. Adam in the store shared his knowledge. Installers Rich and Matt completed their work efficiently. Juan and Maria were skilled finishers leaving our walls ready for paint and tiles. I would choose Fireplaces Plus every time!

    We visited Fireplaces Plus in Vernon Hills to purchase two replacement gas log kits for our two fireplaces at our home. The staff could not have been more friendly, helpful or professional! They had everything we needed in stock. Now our fireplaces look new again!

    Top notch quality and service. Neil and the crow were all incredible. The Fireplace came out better then we could ever have imagined. We just love caming in the home now and seeing this gorgeous fireplace. Ask for Juan for your stone work, he's truly a Artist.

    They supplied and installed all the hardware for our three fireplaces and did a beautiful job and not the slightest issue. They also installed our Broilmaster outdoor grill. All was done exceptionally well.... that was in 2001!!! Today Mike came over to restore the grill and it is as new!!! Really professional and detailed work! 20 years of outstanding service is pretty amazing!!!

    Very pleased with my new fireplace AND the customer service. I had a gas insert installed. There were some annoying issues with my fireplace, such as it would not ignite on the first attempt or even the sixth, but would eventually fire up. Despite their busy period, members of Fireplace Plus visited my fireplace for diagnosis and would also call for follow up. They diagnosed the issue and everything works great. I appreciate the extra effort provided to create a satisfied customer, which I am.

    Professional, detail-oriented and expertise! I was very pleased with our entire experience with Fireplaces Plus. Neal, the owner was who came out to give us a quote. He was so honest, even talking us out of the more expensive option because he said it would be too big for our space. He was super accommodating too. Because of the timing of our remodel, we needed to move fast. I had three other quotes but he stepped up with a last minute quote and also the best price. Our installers came that Sunday, only 5 days later and did a perfect job. They know their craft, were helpful in explaining what we needed to know about it and were actually nice to have around for the afternoon! So personable! I would recommend them to anyone! I will post pics when the mantel is complete. It's going to be a show stopper! Thank you, Neal and Team!

    Neal, the owner came to our home to personally verify/diagnose what the issue was. He spoke with Napoleon Fireplaces support, and ordered the necessary part.I was definitely impressed with the customer service provided, and the extra effort shown on our behalf. I’m eagerly awaiting the shipment and installation of the required part to get our FP going!Bottom line - great customer service.

    I never got into any of the store locations. I had Neal come to my house and quote turning 2 wood burning fireplaces into gas fireplaces. Previous to this I had two Chimney companies come to my house to inspect and quote. Not only was Neal's price a HUGE cost savings, he treated me like a friend. No BS. Very Honest and trustworthy. Since I had no gas I had to run gas lines to these fireplaces. Neal has partnered with two brothers, Bob and Eric that run gas lines to the fireplaces. They were at my house on time. They were considerate, honest, clean, and trustworthy. This team of guys had a positive attitude, and were friendly. Amazing good men with great knowledge and experience! Thank you guys!
